Ahead of Carers Rights Day on Thursday 20 November 2025 we're running a special webinar focussing on conversations with carers.
Every day, 12,000 people become unpaid carers for a partner, family member or a friend – many of whom don’t see themselves as Carers, often unaware of their legal rights and what they’re entitled to in terms of support and benefits. Carers should not have to miss out on support designed to reduce some of the pressures caring can bring.
This webinar will help members of the MECC Community:
- Gain experience of the key issues from specialists working with Carers from Camden and Islington
- Hear about what life is like from actual Carers
- Consider how to handle conversations with Carers
- Know where to find resources and support
The webinar lasting 1 hour will be held online. Full instructions on how to join the session on Zoom will be sent out 24-48 hours before the session.
